Alec Baldwin and I have more in common then I thought. It would seem that he too was a victim of the Family Court System in America. I can relate to him because I am a father who was in a custody battle just like him.

How do I reassure my son that his is safe?

O.K so me and my ex have 2 sons 11 and 9, they used to go over every other wknd to his house but about 2 months ago they were not really thrilled about going I thought it was because he recently got married and they did not like his new wife. Well I spoke to them but didn't push it and said that I would not make them go somewhere they didn't wanna go. well come to find out they don't wanna go because they think that he might be involved in something illegal and they don't wanna be around that. So my oldest son had a phone call and it was his Dad asking why they did not want to go over of course my son said BECAUSE like all kids do, and apparently his dad told him fine if that is the way you wanna be then don't ever come back and all the xmas gifts that I got you are going back an then hung up on him. Now my son cries and thinks that his dad is going to hurt someone in my family as payback. If I talk to his dad he will start yelling at me and pointing the finger at me saying that this my doing. Also he will call my son on his phone and go off on him. and if he doesn't answer he will go all Alec Baldwin on him and leave a horrid message. So what would you do in this situation? I need to hear from other ppl and see what they think. Thanx!!
I am not pushing them to go I would NEVER make my kids go or do anything they don't want my question is how do I DEAL WITH THE FEAR MY SON HAS ABOUT HIS DAD RETALIATING TO GET BACK AT HIM FOR NOT WANTING TO GO AND MAKE HIM FEEL SAFE.
